2 March 2022

The latest general practice appointment figures show that 774,292 appointments were carried out in Kent and Medway in January 2022.

Data released from NHS England shows that nearly 450,000 face-to-face and home visits were undertaken alongside over 325,000 phone and video appointments by general practice teams.

Over 356,000 of those appointments were carried out by members of the general practice team other than the GP. These figures reflect the growing workforce in general practice, working alongside GPs which include pharmacists, advanced nurse practitioners, first contact physios and others.
