Cazoo Classic winner pops in to grab a jab

17 August 2021

Calum Hill secured his first European Tour title at the Cazoo Classic, then popped in to see the on-site vaccination team at the London Golf Club, near Sevenoaks.

The 26-year-old followed his golfing victory, with grabbing his second Covid jab from the Solutions for Health team (pictured below with Calum), who were running a pop-up vaccination centre at the tournament at the weekend.

Calum was one of more than 1,000 people who visited one of Kent and Medway’s walk-in, pop-up or on-wheels vaccination clinics during the weekend (14-15 August).

If you are eligible for your first or second dose of the vaccine, visit NHS Kent and Medway Clinical Commissioning Group’s (CCG) grab-a-jab page to find the nearest clinic for your vaccine – www.kentandmedwayccg.nhs.uk/grabajab

This time, vaccinators, coders and volunteers from Dr Ash Peshen’s team swapped their Thanet base for a conference room at Donnington Manor Hotel, Sevenoaks.

Players, caddies and their families all came along to grab a jab last Monday (9 August), ahead of the Cazoo Classic at the weekend.
