Kent and Medway’s Mental Wellbeing Information Hub is an online one-stop place to help signpost you to support and services.
Ahead of World Mental Health Day (10 October 2021) Dr Jihad Malasi, NHS Kent and Medway Clinical Commissioning Group’s GP Clinical Lead for Mental Health, said: “There’s a wealth of information about services and support available to people in Kent and Medway on our online Mental Wellbeing Information Hub.
“If you feel you need support with you mental wellbeing, the hub can help guide you to the help that’s there for you.”
The hub includes sections specifically for:
- parents, carers and families
- children and young people
- students and young adults
- adults with memory problems.
Better Health Mind Plan
Through the Mind Plan, by answering five simple questions online, adults can get a personalised mental health action plan with practical tips for helping deal with stress and anxiety, boost their mood, sleep better, and feel more in control.
Dr Malasi added: “If you are feeling anxious, stressed, low or having problems with sleeping, please don’t delay in seeking help. Every Mind Matters and the Mind Plan are great places to start.”
